  • What is sustainably-farmed/grown wine?

    We consider wines that support social responsibility, provide economic opportunities throughout the supply chain, and reject using unnecessary chemical additives and pesticides to be sustainably-farmed.

  • What is organic wine?

    Grapes farmed without the use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides are considered organic. Many vineyards grow their grapes organically, but they don’t put it on the label because it’s costly and complicated to receive certification.

  • What is non-GMO?

    Our organic and ‘made with organic grapes’ wines have been certified by an accredited third party like CCOF to not contain genetically modified organisms.

  • What’s the difference between ‘Organic Wine’ and wine ‘Made with Organic Grapes?’

    ‘Made with organic grapes’ means the wine must be made entirely from certified organic grapes, from certifiers like CCOF. Additional ingredients used in the winemaking process don’t need to be organic, but they cannot be produced with the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.

  • What is biodynamic wine?

    Biodynamic winemaking combines spiritual, astrological, and environmental concerns; where farming takes place according to the lunar cycle. The wine is made from grapes grown in a biodiverse vineyard, with no added chemicals or process manipulations.

  • What makes a wine pesticide-free?

    Wine made from grapes farmed without the use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides.

  • What is a low sugar wine?

    We’ve tested the wine to ensure that it contains 2g/L or less of sugar, and 3g/100mL or less of carbohydrates.

  • What does “no sugar added” mean?

    There was no sugar added to the wine during the winemaking process. While natural sugar still remains, we’ve lab tested the wine to ensure that it contains no more than 1g/L of sugar per liter, which is very minute.

  • What is a low carb wine?

    We’ve tested the wine to ensure that it contains 3g/100mL or less of carbohydrates, and 2g/L or less of sugar.

  • What determines a low sulfite wine?

    For wines made with organic grapes, a certifier/ACA verified that the finished product contains less than 100 ppm of sulfur dioxide. For organic wine, they have confirmed that sulfites weren’t added to the wine.

  • What is a vegan/vegan-friendly wine?

    No animal-derived additives/processing aids were added during the fining process.

  • What is a plant-based wine?

    When a wine follows the practices that allow it to be called vegan/vegan-friendly, we consider it to be plant-based as well.

  • What makes a wine keto/keto-friendly?

    By definition if a wine contains low carbohydrates, and low sugar, it is keto as well.

  • How is a wine paleo/paleo-friendly?

    We consider all of our low sugar, low carb, and no sugar added wines to be paleo/paleo-friendly due to our minimal intervention winemaking practices.

  • Is wine gluten-free?

    Wine is naturally gluten-free in accordance with TTB regulations.
